Scott Higgins teaches courses in film history, theory, and genre at Wesleyan University. He is recipient of Wesleyan’s Binswanger Prize for Excellence in Teaching. He is working on a third book about film serials from the 1930s and 1940s. His areas of specialization include aesthetics, silent and classical cinema, narrative theory, genre, and technology.
